The kids hunt down their seat and sit down. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy as we say.
I don't use this for every group, but mostly my younger kids (particularly K and 1) who just need that structure all the way through. It's worked well. They get excited about what number they get, rather than fighting over where they get to sit.
