History. |
In March 2012, I felt a little inspired. At this time, there were just a few key players in the speech & language blog world. I have always made some of my own materials, but struggled with organization. I created "Heard in Speech" to store my materials. I shared with my friends in real life and online and the rest is history.

Heard in Speech is STILL my little old place to post. While "speeching" is what I do as a day job, the things I post are my personal items created on my own time in my sweet home office.
The materials I create are intended for use by SLPs and educators and do not substitute for the clinical judgement of a professional. Additionally, professionals should, of course, use materials with their own clinical judgment in mind. If you are a parent with speech & language concerns, please find a certified and clinically competent speech-language pathologist in your area. The American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) is a great place to start. |
